ALUMNI
Marianna Lamnina has a PhD in Cognitive Science in Education. She is now a data science content developer at DataCamp. She is passionate about developing research-informed educational technology to improve student learning and motivation.
Laura Malkiewich has a PhD in Cognitive Science in Education. She is now a UX researcher at 2U and an adjunct instructor at NYU. Her research interests center around how educational task design affects student motivation and cognitive processes that lead to learning transfer.
Jenna Marks has a PhD in Cognitive Studies in Education. She is now a senior learning scientist at Amplify. She is passionate about developing products and processes to improve our education system. Her interests include educational software and games, blended learning environments, design thinking education, and professional development for educators.
Deena Bernett has an MA in Cognitive Studies in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Chicago. Her research interests are in learning and memory with a specific focus on how people learn math.
Christine Chesebrough holds a Masters in Cognitive Science in Education. She is currently a doctoral student in Psychology at Drexel University where she investigates the cognitive mechanisms of learning and creativity.
